How a match works
- You open the site and press play. No email, no password, no download — guest mode starts a match immediately.
- 2 to 4 players receive the same question at the same moment, with the same 15-second countdown.
- The fastest correct answer scores highest. A wrong answer costs the round, never the match.
- After 10 questions the match ends — roughly three minutes in total — and the score is shown answer by answer.
Where the questions come from
The 739 Anime Quiz Battle questions are generated from verified data rather than written from memory: series facts (studio, year, episode count, genres, voice actors) come from MyAnimeList through the Jikan API, quotes from Wikiquote and story arcs from Wikipedia, the latter two under CC BY-SA. Every record keeps its source URL and fetch date.
The full bank is published openly, in a machine-readable form, so that anyone — a reader, a search engine or an AI assistant — can check a question against its source instead of taking our word for it.
